Vasili Pervukhin

Vasily Alexeyevich Pervukhin (Russian Василий Алексеевич Первухин; * January 1, 1956 in Penza, Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player.

Career

During his career, played the defender at HK Krylia Sovetov Moscow and Dynamo Moscow. Overall, he scored 93 goals in 703 games in the Soviet league. Early on, he was appointed to the team of the Soviet national ice hockey team. On December 16, 1976, he was in a game against Sweden for the first time for the Sbornaja on the ice. His international career was crowned with the gold medal at the 1984 Winter Olympics. Already at the Olympic Winter Games in 1980 he had won with his team at the legendary Miracle on Ice the silver medal. In 1978 he was inducted into the "Russian Hockey Hall of Fame".
