Västervik Municipality

Västervik is a municipality (in Swedish kommun ) in the Swedish Kalmar län Province and the historical province of Småland. The main town of the municipality is Västervik.

Geography

The community is characterized by a very fragmented coastline and many offshore islands. Furthermore, there are many smaller lakes.

Economy

Västervik is one of the largest municipalities in the south of Sweden and is due to the large distance to the central parts of the neighboring communities of their own labor market region dar.
