Vaude (trademark: VAUDE ) is a German producer of mountain sports equipment with headquarters in Baden-Württemberg Tettnang top Eisenbach. The company was founded in 1974 by Albrecht von Dewitz. Company History
1974-1980: Foundation and Moving
In 1974, Albrecht von Dewitz, VAUDE the company, which sells mountaineering equipment and produces its own backpacks. The company's headquarters and production facility in Upper Eisenbach was built in 1980.
1992 to 2001: New products and a children's house

2009-2012: Antje von Dewitz takes over
