The UK Zenit -Kazan (Russian волейбольный клуб Зенит - Казань, formerly Dinamo Kazan Tattransgas ) is a Russian men's volleyball club from Kazan, which was established on 13 May 2000. He participates in the highest volleyball league of Russia, the Super League, and the Volleyball Champions League.

History

The Volleyball Club Dinamo Kazan was founded on 13 May 2000 by the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kazan City Administration. Initially the club played in the fourth division, the Perwaja league. 2001 promotion to the third division, the league Wysschaja example again, a year later, with the championship of the third division promotion to the second division, which can be reached Wysschaja League A.

In the season 2006/ 07 Dinamo Kazan Tattransgas won the Russian Championship playoff final against VK Dynamo Moscow and thus qualified for the Champions League the following season.
