Ved Buens Ende
Ved Buens end ( own spelling: Ved Buens end ..... something like, ' At the end of the rainbow ') was a Norwegian experimental metal band that was founded in 1994.
Band History
The founding members were already in the environment of the Norwegian Black Metal scene is active, the aggressor had played at Satyricon and Ulver, Vicotnik founded in 1994 Dodheimsgard, Skoll was at this time bassist with Ulver and Fimbulwinter. After the demo Those Who Caress the Pale Diamanda of Misanthropy Records was through a friend from Norway, whom she was visiting, pay attention to Ved Buens end and took them under contract. Despite good reviews, the band broke up in 1997 initially. Demo and debut album in 1997 and 2002 re-issued with different artwork. Aggressor, now known as Czral, remained active mainly in Aura Noir and founded in 2000, the virus that were the end of the tradition of Ved Buens. After he had a lintel in March 2005, since his feet are paralyzed, recovering, he tried in April 2006 Ved Buens end to regroup. Einar " Necrodevil " Sjursø of Infernö should replace Czral as a drummer, was temporarily Petter " Plenum " Berntsen of virus new bassist, Bjørn Boge should then be a studio musician. It was announced recording a new album, but in January 2007 the band made their final resolution known.
Style of music and texts
The music of Ved Buens end combines black metal influences with aspects of the post-rock, crooning and jazz -influenced drum and bass playing. The band has loud Vercingentórixa, editor of the Rites of Eleusis, to write " a unique style, eerie, avant-garde, nostalgic music with poetic / astral texts " that scheinten to come from another dimension. According Diamanda of Misanthropy Records, the band does not have much to do with black metal, instead it is beyond any categorization.
