Vejen Municipality

Vejen municipality is a Danish municipality in Jutland. It was created on 1 January 2007 as part of local government reform by combining the "old" Vejen commune with the previous local rodding, Brørup and Holsted.

Vejen municipality has a total population of 42,700 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013 ) and an area of ​​813.70 km ². It is part of Syddanmark Region. The seat of government is in Vejen. The municipality operates within the region Trekantområdet along with five neighboring municipalities.
