Veljko Petković

Veljko Petkovic (Cyrillic Вељко Петковић, born January 23, 1977 in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian volleyball player.

With the Yugoslav national team, he won at the 2000 Olympic Games gold medal and in 1998 was runner-up.

His career began at the OK Vojvodina Novi Sad, where for years he won the championship of Yugoslavia along with his fellow players. After he became one of the best volleyball players of Yugoslavia, he left the club and moved abroad. In the 2009/10 season he played for ACH Volley Bled in Slovenia before moving to the OK Budvańską Rivijera from Montenegro in June 2010.

Veljkos younger brother Vlado also plays in the Serbian national team.
