Velká Buková

Velka Buková ( German United Bukowa, 1939-45 Great Book ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. You more than twelve kilometers southeast of Rakovníka and belongs to Okres Rakovník.

Geography

Velka Buková located in the highlands Křivoklátská in the conservation area Krivoklatsko. The village is situated on the treeless plateau Buková in Pürglitzer forest, the creek on the north by Bach Trnava, on the east by Rakovnický and is circled in the south of the Berounka. History

The first written mention of the village was carried out in the year in 1386.

In Velka Buková a sulfur hut was operated by the rule Křivoklát. In 1685 Leopold I sold the Kronherrschaft Křivoklát at Ernst Joseph Graf von Waldstein. 1731 inherited Johann Joseph von Waldstein the sovereignty to his daughter and sole heir Maria Anna, Princess of Fürstenberg, they last will and testament united in 1756 with the reign Kruschowitz and the Good Nischburg to a Familienfideikommiss of 400,000 guilders. After the abolition of patrimonial Velka Buková / Großbukowa formed in 1850 with the districts Kalubice and Malá Buková a municipality in the district court district Rakonitz and Křivoklát.
