Venezuela women's national volleyball team

The Venezuelan national volleyball team of women is a selection of the best Venezuelan player, who the Federación Venezolana de Voleibol represented in international tournaments and international matches.

History

World Championships

Venezuela has never qualified for a World Volleyball Championship.

Olympic games

2008 Beijing Venezuela took first at the Olympic tournament, but remained winless and finished off in the first round after the eleventh place.

South America Championships

In the South American Championship 1969 Venezuela reached the fourth place as host. In 1973, Venezuela Fifth, 1977 and 1979, there was the seventh and six. After the fourth rank in 1983 Venezuela two years later was third in the country and was able to repeat this success at the next tournament. In the following two years, the Venezuelan women were fourth and fifth respectively, before they were back in third place in 1993. It was followed by three fourth places, most recently again as host. 2001, they were one rank better, 2003, they were missing. In 2005 she returned as a fourth, 2007, she occupied the fifth to third place.

World Cup

The previous World Cup tournaments were held without Venezuela.

World Grand Prix

Venezuela was not previously involved in the tournaments of the World Grand Prix.
