Venio Losert ( born July 25, 1976 in Zavidovići, Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian handball player. He is 1.91 m tall and weighs 94 pounds.

Losert, who plays for the Polish club KS Kielce and for the Croatian men's handball team ( Rückennr. 1) runs, plays as a goalkeeper.

Venio Losert came early in the youth academy of Badel Zagreb, where he made ​​his debut in the first Croatian league. With Zagreb 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999 Croatian champion and cup winner as well as the high point in 1992 and 1993 winner of the EHF Champions League. In 1999, he sought a new challenge and moved to Garbel Zaragoza in the Spanish league ASOBAL to draw just about a year later to Teka Cantabria. Losert with currently 211 international matches for the Croatian men's national handball team record player before Igor Vori with 209 at the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996 and in Athens in 2004 he won with his team the gold medal in the World Handball Championships in 1995, 2005 and 2009, silver and at the 2003 World Championships gold medal.
