Vera Altayskaya
Vera Vladimirovna Altaiskaja (Russian Вера Владимировна Алтайская; born May 21, 1919 in Petrograd, Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, † December 28, 1978 in Moscow, Soviet Union) was a Russian actress.
She was known by the fairy tale classic movie adventure in the enchanted forest. There she played the domineering stepmother. Parallel to acting, she worked in some Russian and Norwegian film productions as spokeswoman. Wera Altaiskaja died at the age of 59 years, about half a year before her 60th birthday after a short illness in Moscow.
