Vereinigte Breslauer Sportfreunde

The United Breslauer Sportfreunde were a German football club from the Lower Silesia Wroclaw.

History

1904 SC 1904 Breslau was founded. 1911 changed the club 's name in club Breslauer Sportfreunde. 1914 were the United Sportfreunde first time in the Southeast German final, here had to but Askania forest with 1:3 beaten.

United Breslauer Sportfreunde was founded in 1919 by the merger of SC Preußen Breslau and the association Breslauer Sportfreunde.

The home games contested the Breslauer in Southpark.

But in 1920 should the great hour of Wroclaw beat: After again met in the semifinals on Askania forest, this time 1-0 to keep the upper hand, you got to do it in the final forest with their local rivals Victoria. Here we clearly showed superior and won clearly with 6:2.

Thus the way was free to participate in the final round of the German Cup. In the quarter final they met the hochfavorisierte team of Union Oberschoeneweide. Sensational enough, you could prevail 3-2. In the semifinals, however, the SpVgg Fürth it was clearly inferior to 0:4.

Then you could qualify six more times for the final round, however, different from each early. The East German football was not competitive due to its remoteness.

1933 attempts were made to improve athletic strength by joining forces. So merged the United Breslauer Sportfreunde 1933 Breslauer SC 08 to Breslauer SpVg 02

But even after the merger of the club came Breslauer does not go beyond mediocrity. After the Second World War, from Wroclaw, the Polish Wroclaw and Wroclaw SpVg 02 had to be resolved.
