Veresa Toma

Ratu Veresa Toma (born 6 August 1981) is a Fijian football striker.

Career

Tina began his career with General Lautoka. This was followed in 2000 his first seniors station in the highest league in Fijian Nadroga FC. It was followed in 2002 his first foreign stop in the S-League for Gombak United. After a year of Gombak, he returned to the club 's back and returned to Fiji, where he signed with Olympian team. In the club from the Ba district in the Western Division he played until November 2002 and was named player of the year 2003, the Fiji Football Association selected. This brought in January 2004 signed a contract in Australia, at the Bentleigh Greens. After half a year for Bentleigh he left already again Australia and returned to the Fiji 's, where he hired the Nadi FC. It was followed by three years at Nadi and returned at the beginning of 2007 to Australia, where he should now try his luck in the Oakleigh Cannons. In the Victorian Premier League, he became the bearer of his team 's performance in spring 2008 and got a contract with the champions from Papua New Guinea to the PRK Hekari United. However, in Hekari United, he did not properly train and returned to the end of 2008, home to the Fiji 's. Add to Fiji 's he tried his luck now at Navua FC. He remained there but again only half a year and moved in summer 2009 to league rivals Rewa FC. There he found his way back to its former power and became achievers. He played two and a half years for Rewa before he signed in March 2013, together with his brother Viliame Davai at Nadi FC.

Internationally

Toma played years with his brother Viliame Toma in the fidischianischen national team.

In the OFC Nations Cup 2004, which was the qualifying tournament for the FIFA World Cup 2006 at the same time, Toma was top scorer with seven goals. His team, which finished fourth, could not qualify for the finals of the World Cup.
