Verónica Echegui

Verónica Echegui ( born June 16, 1983 in Madrid) is a Spanish actress.

Verónica Echegui studied acting at the Royal Drama and Art School ( Reşad ) in Madrid. During her studies she has already received first minor roles in television films. In 2006, the film Yo soy la Juani ( My Name is Juani ) by Bigas Luna in the cinemas. The role of Juani was the breakthrough for her. She has won several awards for this role and was nominated for the Goya for best young actress. At the Berlinale 2009, she was awarded the European Film Award Shooting Star. For the film El patio de mi Belén Macías cárcel of them was nominated for a Goya Award 2009 in the category of Best Actress.
