Veronique Pierron

Véronique Pierron ( born July 22, 1989 in Sedan) is a French Shorttrackerin.

Since 2005 part of the French national team. At the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, she was substitute runner for the season, but was not used. Pierron, 2008 in Ventspils played their first European Championship. In multiplayer battle she was ranked 18th in the 2008/ 09 season debuted Pierron in Sofia in the World Cup. As the best result it reached about 1000 m eleventh place. They also launched at the European Championships in Turin and reached best result seventh above 1,500 meters. They also took in Vienna for the first time at the World Cup finals, but was unable to reach the front ranks. The following season, 2009/10 Pierron played all four World Cups. At the European Championships in Dresden, she was in the all around sixth. Over 1000 m, it also won her first international medal with bronze. She qualified for the Olympic Games in Vancouver. About 500 m they reached the quarter- finals and finished third in the final standings rank 14th in the 2010/11 season they reached the World Cup in Quebec about 1000 m eighth and thus their best ever World Cup result. At the European Championships 2012 in Mladá Boleslav Pierron won bronze over 1000 m again. In multiplayer battle she reached sixth place. At the World Championships in Shanghai, she reached the semi-finals over 1500 m.

In 2009, Pierron won her first national title.
