Veselá (Zlín District)

Vesela ( German Wessela ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers east of Zlín and belongs to Okres Zlín.

Geography

Vesela is located in the southern foothills of the host 's mountains at the transition to Vizovice Bergland. The village is located on the right side opposite the mouth of the creek Ostraky in the Dřevnice on a hill. To the east rise CHRAST ( 438 m), the Břízka (409 m) and Na Hranici (380 m).

Neighboring towns are Vratišov, Ostrata and Březova in the north, Slušovice in the northeast, Raková in the east, Menšíky, Vizovice and Zádveřice the southeast, Klečůvka in the south, Lužkovice, Výpusta and Příluky the southwest, Štákovy Paseky and Vršava in the west and Hvozdná in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village belonging to the reign Lukov Wessela took place in 1407 in the Libri citationum ( charge books / knihy půhonné ) together with Ostrata, Březova and Lužkovice as the property of Ješek von Sternberg. In the 16th century Nekesch Landek acquired the dominion Lukov. Lucretia of Witschkow, born Nekesch Landek, which had in 1607 inherited the reign, married in 1609 Albrecht of Wallenstein. He tried in vain to re-catholicize his subjects. 1625 Waldstein Lukov came from with all the accessories to the Emperor, who handed over the rule to Stephan Schmidt of free Mayrhofen. 1628 From this acquired the Minkwitz of Minkwitzburg the now heavily indebted government. Wessela was the seat of an excepted from the drudgery bailiff. When selling Lukov to the Lords of Rottalblick Wessela 1710 was separated together with Klečůvka of the rule and the Allodialgut Klečůvka formed. In 1793 the village consisted of 42 houses and had 230 inhabitants. 1834 lived in 56 houses of Vesela 326 people. In 1843 the community had 370 inhabitants. Until the mid- 19th century the village has always remained the Good Klečůvka submissive.

After the abolition of patrimonial Vesela / Wesela formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Uherský Brod. As of 1855, the village belonged to the district Vizovice and from 1868 to the district Holešov. Between 1874 and 1877 a private school was built. 1880, the village had grown to 84 stores and had 502 inhabitants. Vicarage was Hvozdná. With the growth of your initial investment as Slavic Rundling village to the east, there was the problem that Vesela formally, but most of the houses were of the parish Hvozdná within the district of the parish Slušovice. As in 1900, now 65 houses of the village the parish belonged Slušovice, the Umpfarrung the 25 houses of the old town center was targeted. Proposed by the district school board in 1908 and expansion of the school enrollment of children from Klečůvka foundered on the opposition of the local community council. Between 1913 and 1914 took place in Vesela, without the participation of Klečůvka, a new school building. In the same year there was a regulation of Dřevnice and Ostratky. 1935 Vesela was associated with the new district Zlín. 1936 began the construction of County Highway Lipa - Slušovice and 1938 the road from Klečůvka after Želechovice. From 1950 to Vesela Okres Gottwaldov - okolí and in 1960 was again Okres Gottwaldov, which again bears the name Okres Zlín after the political changes since 1990.
