Vesilahti

Vesilahti [ ˌ ʋesi lɑxti ] is a municipality in western Finland with 4439 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is located in the countryside Pirkanmaa, some 30 kilometers away from the capital city of Tampere. The cities of Nokia and Lempäälä are also located near the city Vesilahti. The population of Vesilahti is increasing, as most of the people living in Vesilahti work in Tampere. 14.5 percent of the area Vesilahtis consists of water.

Vesilahti since the year 2002, a twin town of the German town of St. Georgen in the Black Forest.
