Vesna Zmijanac

Vesna Zmijanac ( born January 4, 1957 in Titograd, Yugoslavia, now Montenegro) is one of the most successful folk singers in the Western Balkans.

Their biggest hits are Nevero moja ( My infidelity ), Malo po malo ( piece by piece ), Idem preko zemlje Srbije ( I walk across the floor of Serbia ), Ne kunite Crne oči ( Cursed non-black eyes), Kazni me, kazni ( Punish me, punish me) Since budemo zajedno ( the fact that we are together), Kraljica Tuge ( Queen of mourning ), Kunem ti se životom ( I swear with my life ), Zaboravi me ( forget me and many others).

An equally successful song was a duet with the Bosnian superstar Dino Merlin: Kad zamirišu jorgovani (If the lilac starts to smell ). Kad zamirišu jorgovani also was her first biography in which they reported using the show industry. Vesna also clarified the forced from the tabloids Lepa Brena with hostility.

Today Vesna lives rather withdrawn in the Serbian city of Bukulje.
