Vevey District

The District de Vevey ( German: District Vevey) until 31 December 2007, an administrative unit of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. Capital was Vevey. The District was in the Cercle ( German: Kreise ) Montreux, La Tour -de- Peilz, Vevey and Corsier divided.

The District consisted of ten municipalities was 97.22 km ² and counted 70'566 inhabitants ( end of 2006).
