VfL Bad Berleburg

VfL Bad Berleburg is a sports club from Bad Berleburg, North Rhine -Westphalia. The first men's team in football currently playing in the district league Westphalia. Other divisions of the association are Badminton, Ballet & Dancing, handball, athletics, swimming, skiing, marching band, taekwondo, table tennis, gymnastics and volleyball.

History

The club was founded in 1921 as a successor to the Turnverein 1863 Bad Berleburg. 1970 merged the club with the game and sports club Bad Berleburg and the Ski Club 1909 Bad Berleburg.

Football

Best Merits the club's history in football in 1975 and 1977 respectively, the rise in the highest Westphalian amateur league, the federation League Westphalia. Both in the season 1975/76 and 1977/78 the club but both times immediately rose again in the national league Westphalia.
