Vibius Sequester

Vibius sequestrum was a Roman author of the 4/5 Century AD He wrote an alphabetical Latin lexicon to geography.

Vibius sequester whose only attested by an inscription nickname now seems certain, wrote his by a manuscript of the ninth century ( Vat Lat. 4929 ) and De fluminibus fontibus lacubus nemoribus paludibus montibus Gentibus by Litteras handed down work less in terms of a geographical encyclopedia as for the explanation of Roman poets like Virgil, Lucan, Silius Italicus and Ovid. Apparently used Vibius sequester mainly scholia to these poets to create his lexicon, making his work primarily as a source for older, otherwise not preserved scholia material has meaning.
