Vicente Matías Vuoso

Matías Vuoso ( born November 3, 1981 in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine naturalized Mexican football player and on the position of the striker.

Life

Association

Vuoso began his professional career at the Argentine Club Atlético Independiente, for which he played from 2000 to 2002. For the 2002/ 03 season he moved to the English first division club Manchester City, but where he remained without use and then moved to the Mexican Primera División, where he stood in the last eight years at Santos Laguna and America under contract.

His greatest successes came in the green- white dress of Northern Mexicans, with whom he in a row, scorer of the Mexican League was twice in 2005. Initially with 15 goals in the Torneo Clausura 2005 and then with eleven goals in Torneo Apertura 2005 Further he won with Santos in the Torneo Clausura 2008, the Mexican soccer championship.

Between 2008 and 2010, the naturalized Mexicans played a total of ten international appearances for the Mexican national team, in which he scored four goals.

His international debut celebrated Vuoso 6 September 2008 against Jamaica (3-0), his most recent deployment took place against Iceland (0-0 ) on March 24, 2010. His first international goal he scored on 15 October 2008 for a 2-2 draw against Canada in the 64th minute. His second international goal came in the 89th minute of the test match against Ecuador on 12 November 2008 and marked the 2-1 victory. On 11 March 2009 in a 5-1 against Bolivia he had a double.
