Victor Eftimiu

Victor Eftimiu ( born January 24, 1889 in Boboshticë, Ottoman Empire, today Albania, † November 27, 1972 ) was a Romanian poet, playwright and translator.

Eftimiu early emigrated to Romania, where he worked as theater director from 1913. He published several volumes of poetry and a book of Romanian fairy tales and wrote comedies and satirical pieces for the theater, as well as several children's books. In addition, he also wrote reviews and articles for numerous magazines (including Convorbiri critice, Viata literara şi Artistica, Tara noastra, Revista literara şi politica ).
