Victor Gbeho

James Victor Gbeho ( born January 12, 1935 in Keta ) is a leading Ghanaian politician, diplomat and lawyer.

Until 1997 Ghebo representative of Ghana to the United Nations (UN ) in New York. From 1997 to 2001, during the first term of President John Agyekum Kufuor, Ghebo had held the office of Minister of Foreign Affairs and was openly supported by the predecessor of Kufuor, Jerry Rawlings. In 2000, he won a parliamentary seat in the Anlo constituency in the Volta Region in the elections as an independent candidate. In addition to his long tenure as foreign minister has been out of the Anlo -Ewe people crucial to the electoral success of its origin.

From February 18 2010 to March 1, 2012, he was President of the ECOWAS Commission.

Gbeho is not a member of the Executive Council of the Ghanaian law firm Minkah - Premo & Co.
