Victor Polupanov

Viktor Andreevich Polupanow (Russian Виктор Андреевич Полупанов; * January 1, 1946 in Khimki ) is a former Russian ice hockey player ( Forward / Center).

Career

During his career he played for CSKA Moscow and Krylia Sovetov HK Moscow. In all, he scored 154 goals in 293 games in the Soviet league. He was appointed to the team of the Soviet national ice hockey team early on. On 5 December 1965, he was in a game against Sweden for the first time for the Sbornaja on the ice. His international career was crowned with the gold medal at the 1968 Olympic Winter Games. For the national team, he scored 43 goals in 75 internationals. The Ice Hockey World Championships, he became in 1966, 1967 and 1970 world champion with his team. In 1967 he was inducted into the "Russian Hockey Hall of Fame". On December 10, 1970 he played his last international match.
