Víctor Sada

Víctor Sada i Remisa ( born March 8, 1984 in Badalona ) is a Spanish professional basketball player. He plays the position of point guards. He is currently with the Spanish club FC Barcelona under contract.

Career

Víctor Sada began his career in the youth from FC Barcelona. His league debut in the first team of the Catalans, he celebrated on 16 October 2003 against Ricoh Manresa. This season, he came only sporadically inserts in the first team and spent the most time in the B- team. From 2004 /05, although he was a permanent member of the A - squad, but never was able to secure a regular place and brought it to 2005/ 06 only 11 league bets.

In summer 2006, undertook Akasvayu Girona, which was coached by his former coach at Barcelona Svetislav Pešić, the point guard. Here he rose to a supporting player on, won 2006/ 07 with his team's FIBA EuroCup and reached the 2007/08 final of the ULEB Cup, where they lost Joventut Badalona with de 54:79.

After the relegation of Akasvyu because of financial difficulties Sada returned to his former club FC Barcelona. Here he shared with Jaka Laković and later Ricky Rubio the position of the point guards and was able to celebrate many successes, such as the Master title in 2008 /09 and 2010/ 11 as well as winning the ULEB Euro League 2009/10.

National

Víctor Sada played his first game for the Spanish national team on 18 July 2008, in preparation for the Olympic Games in Beijing, against Portugal. At the 2011 European Championships he won the gold medal with the national team.
