Viktor Abramovich Salgaller (Russian Виктор Абрамович Залгаллер, English transcription Victor Abramovich Zalgaller, . Born December 25, 1920 in Parfino, Novgorod Oblast, Russia ) is a Russian mathematician who is concerned with geometry and mathematical optimization.

Zalgaller studied at Leningrad University in Alexander Danilovich Aleksandrov and Leonid Kantorovich. With Kantorovich he published in 1951 a book. In 1963 he habilitated in Aleksandrov (areas with limited curvature ). He was then a professor at the Steklov Institute in Saint Petersburg. In 1999 he emigrated to Israel.

To Salgallers fields include linear programming, dynamic programming, Isoperimetric inequalities, convex polyhedra, differential geometry.

In 1994, he solved the Malfatti problem with GA Loss.
