Victoria Bammental

The FC Victoria Bammental is a football club from the Palatine community Bammental south of Heidelberg. It was founded on March 1, 1910. His most successful period of the club had the mid-1990s. In 1995 he was promoted to the Oberliga Baden -Württemberg and stayed there for three seasons.

After the descent of the FC Bammental from the fifth division Baden in 2006 and relegation from the national league in 2009, the club played one season in the county league, but from which he in turn descent into Class A circuit. After 2012 almost failed because of the direct re-emergence, succeeded in 2013, the rise in the county league.

Most famous former player of the club is Hans -Dieter Flick. Other well-known former players are Fatih Ceylan and Matthias Born.
