Vidonín

Vidonín ( German Widonin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located ten kilometers north of Velka Bites and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Vidonín located in the belonging to the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands Highlands Křižanovská ( Krischanauer Bergland ) in the source dump of a small tributary on the right side above the valley of Libochovka. To the west rises the Strážnice ( 583 m).

Neighboring towns are Radňoves, Meziboří and Borky in the north, Vratislávka in the northeast, Jeřábkův Mlýn and Žďárec in the east, in the southeast Rojetín, Borovník and Rozseč in the south, Milešín the southwest, Heřmanov in the west and Nová Ves in the northwest.

History

Was first documented Vladikengut Vidonín 1354 as the property of John of Vidonín. The rest of the village belonged in the second half of the 14th century, Jan and Henry of Meziříčí. After 1430 overwrote Dobeš of Meziříčí Vidonín to Viktorin of Schoenwald. After the death of Margaret of Schoenwald, the Vidonín had inherited in 1459, fell to a part of the village of Georg Podiebrad. 1498 bought in January Lechvický of Zástřizl a part of Vidonín. The estate became extinct in the early 16th century. Jindřich Lechvický of Zástřizl finally acquired all the shares of Vidonín. In 1512 he sold the property to William II of Pernštejna. Among its owners was Catherine of Čížov. She sold Vidonín 1617 to Jan Humpolecký of Rybenský on Ossowa. Until 1848 Vidonín remained connected to Ossowa.

After the abolition of patrimonial Vidonín formed in 1850 a part of the community Hermann beat in the District Commission United Meseritsch in Jihlava District. 1869 lived 221 people in Vidonín. Up to 1874 Vidonín was enrolled by Hermann shock, then in the village opened his own school. 1875 was the municipality Vidonín. 1880, the village had 249 inhabitants and in 1900 there were 218 From 1949 the town belonged to Okres Velka Bites. At the beginning of 1961 the village was assigned to the Okres Zdar nad Sázavou. In 1993 the chapel was renovated.
