Vidsich

The civil rights movement Widsitsch (or simply Widsitsch, Ukr Відсіч -. "Resistance" ) is the Ukrainian People's Movement, which originated as a reaction to the regime of Viktor Yanukovych and its related anti -Ukrainian trends. At the foundation of Widsitsch members of the former resistance movement ( revolution on granite, the Ukraine without Kuchma movement, Citizens Committee for the truth, citizens campaign Pora! , Etc.) have participated and beginners.

Principles of movement

  • The non-violence. Nonviolent resistance is used as the most effective method of fighting (not to be confused with pacifism ).
  • The lack of formal leaders and the rotation. Any action or campaign has its coordinators, but the movement as a whole has no single leader who gives his default from above; all decisions are made in the debates between activists. The cells are the same and it is communicated between them on the same level.
  • The openness. There are no secrets from the outside world in " Widsitsch ". Widsitsch protects against disclosure of some information ( such as passwords or personal information of the activists ). However, the information about the position and operation of the motion is available to all.
  • The bipartisanship. Citizens' movement Widsitsch acts not for any political force. The members of a party may be activists of Widsitsch, but in Widsitsch they do not defend the interests of their parties.
  • The principle of consensus is that it seeks such a solution with which all agree.
  • The sacrifice. No one can get the dividend from participation in Widsitsch, about from the fruits of the thing. Rather, all activists of Widsitsch must sacrifice something for the common cause ( time, effort, money, etc. ).
  • Copyleft. Everyone does what he has to do is, nothing demanding for themselves. Anything that makes an activist in Widsitsch, is not his own, but that of Widsitsch and human civilization. No one has the right to request the honor or privilege for what he did.
