Viekšniai
Viekšniai ( German: Wiekschnen ) is a city in the Rajongemeinde Mažeikiai in northwestern Lithuania. It is 17 km south-east of Mažeikiai on road No 155, which runs from Mažeikiai after Kuršėnai.
In 2001 the town had 2270 inhabitants.
Viekšniai is situated on the Venta ( German: Ventspils ), a river in north-western Lithuania and western Latvia.
