Vienna Nightrow

The Vienna Nightrow is an annually since 2011 in Vienna ( Austria ) held international rowing regatta sprint of the First Viennese rowing clubs LIA controlled roller.

Concept

A team of former assets, coaches, club officials, referees and officials of the Austrian rowing federation had set to increase media attention for rowing in Austria vision is to provide a novel and attractive for spectators competition format in this sport. On Saturday, June 29, 2013, the race was held for the third time. 37 aft from Belgium, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Austria and twelve company teams in the controlled sculls were at the start. For the first time a collaboration between the "Vienna Nightrow " and the University of Vienna was performed, which will also hold in 2015 to its 650 -year anniversary a university rowing regatta in Vienna. To launch this project, the "Vienna Nightrow " was used in 2013, which apart from aft club teams were also invited by European universities. Medial third discharge was measured with a photo shoot in the world's popular Red Bulletin magazine and contributed in the university: accompanied View magazine of the University of Vienna, the Neuss - Grevenbroicher newspaper, the ORF sports figure and ORF SPORT.
