  • A " vigil " in front of large festivals, especially the Easter Vigil, the mother of all vigils ( "Full Vigil " )
  • In the broader sense of the day before a holiday, for example, December 24 as Vigil of Christmas. However, the forms were measured by the liturgical reform for Vigil days (which were already in the morning celebrated ) largely abolished.
