Villa Regina
Villa Regina is a city in the department of General Roca, Río Negro in the southwestern Argentina. It is one of the most important cities in the valley of the Río Negro.
History
The city was founded in 1924. The first inhabitants were Italian immigrants.
Economy
The basis of the urban economy is the cultivation of apples and pears.
Population
According to estimates by the INDEC, the population increased from 24,472 inhabitants ( 1991) to 27,516 inhabitants in 2001.

Attractions
The most prominent landmark is the monument Indio Comahue north of the city.
