Vincent Adler

Vincent Adler ( born April 3, 1826 in Győr, † January 4, 1871 in Geneva) was a Hungarian composer and pianist.

Adler was educated at his brother Ferenc Erkel, then studied in Vienna and eventually settled in Paris. From here, he made numerous concert tours as a pianist. From 1864 he taught at the Conservatory of Geneva.

Adler has composed piano etudes and virtuosic salon pieces for the piano, which have Hungarian flavor.
