Violetta Quesada

Violeta Díaz Quesada ( born July 11, 1947 in Santa Clara ) is a Cuban former track athlete.

Quesada won at the Pan American Games in 1967 in Winnipeg along with Marcia Garbey, Cristina Echeverria and Miguelina Cobián in the 4 x 100 - meter relay and finished third in 200 - meter race in seventh place. In the same year she was at the Central American and Caribbean Championships in Xalapa second over 200 meters.

At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City Quesada won the 4 x 100 meters relay together with Marlene Elejarde, Fulgencia Romay and Miguelina Cobián the silver medal behind the United States, and the Soviet Union. It launched in the 100 - meter race, but retired in the quarterfinal round.

1969 Quesada took at the Central American and Caribbean Championships in Havana again second in the 200 -meter run. The same result they achieved in the following year at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Panama City.
