Violin Concerto (Britten)

His Violin Concerto in D minor, Op 15 Benjamin Britten wrote in 1939 shortly after his crossing into the United States. It was first performed the following year in New York by John Barbirolli and the New York Philharmonic with Antonio Brosa as a soloist.
