Virgil Bercea

Virgil Bercea ( born December 9, 1957 in Habic, Mureş county ) is the Bishop of Oradea.

Life

Virgil Bercea, the son of Simeon Bercea and his wife Licretia attended from 1964 to 1972, the school of his hometown, and from 1972 to 1976 the school in Reghin. He served in Sighetu Marmaţiei his military service and then took up the study of agricultural sciences at the Agricultural and Veterinary University of Cluj -Napoca. During this time (1977-1981) he studied theology in secret and received on 9 December 1982, the ordination. As a priest he supervised the communities out of the ground.

From 1990 to 1992 he studied theology at the Dogmatic Pontifical Urban University in Rome and graduated with the theme " particular Churches and the universal Church lay in the context encyclical Christi Fideles ".
