Virgilijus Kačinskas

Virgilijus Kacinskas ( born May 25, 1959 in Vilnius) is a Lithuanian architect and politician.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1977 in Karoliniškės he graduated with distinction in 1982, the Diploma in Architecture at Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas. From 1982 to 1990 he worked at the Institute of Design of Municipal Economy in Šiauliai. He was the author and architect of Castle Ginkūnai. From 1988 he was a member of Sąjūdis and from 1990 to 1992 teaching load in the Seimas. From 1996 to 2005 he was Deputy Director at the Centre for Cultural Heritage.

From 1996 to 2002 he was a member of Lietuvos demokratų partija.

He is married. With wife Regina, he that hath the Son Mindaugas and the daughter Jūratė.
