Vishnu Vardhan

Vishnu Vardhan (actually J [ agadeesan ] Vishnuvardhan, . Born July 27, 1987 in Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh ) is an Indian tennis player.

Career

Vishnu Vardhan began at the age of seven years with the sport of tennis. He took previously at several ATP tournaments in India part, each using a wildcard. However, a victory he could never achieve. On the Challenger Tour 2011 him his first victory came when he won in Astana with compatriot Karan Rastogi. At the Asian Games in 2010 he won Somdev Devvarman together with, Sanam Singh and Karan Rastogi the bronze medal in the team competition.

On 26 June 2012, the ITF announced that Vishnu Vardhan will compete due to a wildcard at the Olympic Games in London in the men's doubles. With partner Leander Paes he won the opening match against the Dutch Jean -Julien Rojer and Robin Haase in the second round they lost then Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Michaël Llodra in three sets. As Vishnu Vardhan substitutes could also compete in the individual competition, his first round match against Slovenia Blaž Kavčič where they lost already clear with 2:6, 2:6.

He plays since 2011 for the Indian Davis Cup team.
