Vista Chino
Vista Chino, previously known as Kyuss Lives!, Is a 2010 launched by John Garcia Band, consisting of two other former Kyuss members and a guitarist that makes the band Kyuss revive live, but now has a studio album in the works.
Band History
In early 2010 announced ex- Kyuss singer John Garcia to revive under the name Garcia Plays Kyuss with Bruno Fevery (guitar), Jacques de Haard (bass) and Rob Snijders (drums) the Kyuss myth live. While this takes place exclusively in Europe tour hit the Quartet on the French Hellfest festival on the also occurring there ex- Kyuss members Nick Oliveri and Brant Bjork, who immediately declared themselves ready to play for some songs. The already positive reactions to the live project were even higher, so that it was agreed in this situation to go on tour in this formation. In 2011, the band toured through Europe and Australia. In addition, the band is planning to record a new studio album after their tour and the completion of their respective solo projects.
End of July 2011 it was announced that Nick Oliveri is the time replaced after some difficulties with the prosecution for taking place outside the U.S. appearances by the second former Kyuss bassist Scott Reeder. In March 2012 it was reported that ex- guitarist Josh Homme and the second former Kyuss bassist Scott Reeder lawsuit against Kyuss Lives! have submitted. The band is accused of trademark infringement and consumer deception. Given impending lawsuits against both the band and against themselves to Oliveri decided in March 2012 to leave the band. In November 2012 it was announced that Kyuss Lives!, Which now include Oliveri again heard in Vista Chino renamed to avoid further disputes with shipowners and Homme.
On August 30, 2013, the band released the album Peace. The band presented two songs previously called Barcelonian and Dargona Dragona the Internet. Since Nick Olivieri this year was not with the band on tour, still plays bass on the album, is to assume that he was replaced by Mike Dean.
