Vitali Proshkin

Vitaly Vasilyevich Proshkin (Russian Виталий Васильевич Прошкин; born May 8, 1976 in Elektrostal, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who plays for Salavat Yulaev Ufa in 2007 in the Continental Hockey League.

Career

Vitaly Proshkin began his career at youth level of crystal Elektrostal. During the 1993/94 season he came in ceramic Elektougli used before he made his debut as he next season for the first team his home club in the International Hockey League. In parallel, he played for the second team of crystal in the second-rate Wysschaja league. In the season 1996/97 he became a permanent first-team squad and collected in 59 regular season games 8 points scorer. In the 1998/99 season Proshkin took Dynamo to three competitions: the Super League, the Wysschaja League and the European Hockey League ( EHL ). With the professional team of the club he took second place in both the EHL, as well as in the Russian championship. A year later he won with the HK Dynamo Moscow his first Russian Championship title when the team Ak Bars Kazan defeated 4-1 in the playoff final. This success contributed Proshkin with 14 scorer points in 53 missions in.

In the summer of 2000 Proshkin was committed by Ak Bars Kazan, but missed a part of the following season due to injury. Internationally

Proshkin played with the Russian national team at the World Championships in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009. 2008 and 2009 he was with Russia world champion. He also participated in several tournaments in the Euro Hockey Tour.

For his athletic achievements, he was awarded in 2009 as the Honored Master of Sports of Russia and received the Medal of Merit for the Fatherland II level awarded.
