VitÄlijs Maksimenko
Vitālijs Maksimenko ( born December 8, 1990 in Riga) is a Latvian footballer who plays for FC Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership.
Career
Vitalijs Maksimenko came to the youth department of FC Daugava Daugavpils where this went through all ages to the year 2007 at the age of 15 years. In the 2008 season the Virsliga he made his professional debut for FC Daugava. In August 2009 Maksimenko moved on loan to CSKA Moscow, where he came but only in the reserve team for use.
After his return from Russia, the contract at FC Daugava was disbanded and he joined free transfer to the 14- fold Latvian champions Skonto Riga. In January 2013 Maksimenko signed with Brighton & Hove Albion.
For Latvia U -17 he played between 2006 and 2007. Use the Latvian U-19 national team, he participated in the qualification tournament of the U-19 Football Championship in France in part.
