Vittorio Agnoletto

Vittorio Agnoletto ( born March 6, 1958 in Milan ) is an Italian politician of the Partito della Refoundation and former Member of the European Parliament.

2001 Agnoletto was the spokesman of the Social Forum in Genoa.

He was a member of the European Parliament in the 6th legislature from 2004 to 2009. There he was with his party a part of the Confederal Group of the European United Left / Nordic Green Left and sat for this to the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Subcommittee on Human Rights. He was also a member of the Delegation to the ACP -EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly.

Agnoletto published in 2011 with the journalist Lorenzo Guadagnucci later the book L' eclisse della democrazia ( " The eclipse of democracy" ). The book is a detailed reappraisal of the protests and police repression during the G8 summit in Genoa in 2001.
