VIZE 2014

VICE- 2014 ( Czech: "Vision 2014" ) is a political party in the Czech Republic. By January 2014, it bore the name LIDEM.

History

The party was formed in the spring of 2012 after internal disputes within the party veci veřejné, which at that time belonged to the coalition government of Petr Necas and had decided after a coalition internal dispute to withdraw from the government Petr Necas. However, some MPs belonging to the Deputy Prime Minister Karolina Peake and all the Party members of the government did not understand this step. They therefore resigned from the veci from veřejné and formed their own political platform. This was officially registered under the name LIDEM on May 29, 2012. At the founding congress in Brno on November 3, 2012 Peake was officially elected with 68 of 70 votes for party chairman. The party had about 100 members at this time.

The party was therefore involved with three members of the government and secured in Parliament and after exiting the veci veřejné from the coalition, the majority of government Necas.

After Party leader Peake was dismissed at the behest of Prime Minister Necas on 20 December 2012 after just eight days out of the office of the defense minister, the party leadership called on its remaining ministers, to January 10, 2013 down from their positions. This invitation was revoked on January 8, 2013, and instead announced talks on a new coalition agreement. The coalition continued to work at first.

Following the resignation of Petr Necas by the Office of the Prime Minister and swearing-in of government Jiří Rusnok the LIDEM from the government stepped down from. On August 8, 2013 Karolina Peake resigned from the party chairmanship after the previous day not voted against the party line in the vote of confidence in the government Jiří Rusnok against the government, but did not participate in the vote. The deputy party leader Dagmar Navratilova then took over as acting party leadership. In November 2013 Navratilova was elected finally to the party chairman of the LIDEM.

At the elections to the House of Representatives in October 2013 LIDEM did not presented a list of some, but was an act of " symbolic support " placed a few candidates to some promising list of places Strana České Republiky soukromníků.

At the party on January 15, 2014 Dagmar Navratilova Aleš Hemer was replaced as party chairman. Navratilova was elected first vice president of the party. The LIDEM renamed themselves at the party in " VICE- 2014" (Vision 2014).

Karolina Peake has now resigned from the party.
