VL Paarma

The VL Paarma was a trainer aircraft of the Finnish manufacturer Valtion lentokonetehdas.

History and construction

The Paarma was developed as a training aircraft for the Finnish Air Force from 1930 until 1931. My first flight took place on 20 March 1931. However, the designed as a biplane two-seater trainer aircraft with rear seats in tandem was underpowered and the flight characteristics were found to be poor. In spite of the machine to the capitalization improvements and the installation of a boost motor were no orders. The only machine in 1933 and damaged beyond repair.
