Vladimir Antipov

Vladimir Borisovich Antipov (Russian: Владимир Борисович Антипов; born January 14, 1978 in Apatity, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who stands at Severstal Cherepovets Since 2013 in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Antipov began his career with the Russian first division club Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, for whom he played until 1999. During the NHL Entry Draft in 1996, he was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fourth round at a total of 103 point. It was in 1999 the change to the St. John 's Maple Leafs, he again left in 2000 and returned to Yaroslavl. This he left again in 2006 and was engaged by Salavat Yulaev Ufa. Between 2006 and 2011 he played for Salavat in the Super League and Kontinental Hockey League, winning in 2008 and 2011, the Russian champion.

In summer 2011, he joined together with Alexander Rjasanzew within the KHL for HC Traktor Chelyabinsk, where he was named team captain. Two years later he left the club and was engaged by Severstal Cherepovets, where he has also acted as captain of the team.
