Vladimir Božović

Vladimir Božović ( born November 13, 1981 in Peć, Yugoslavia, now Serbia ) is a Montenegrin football player. The full-back has played 191 games in the Serbian Superliga and the Romanian League 1 Since early 2013 he is at Mordowia Saransk under contract.

Career

The career of Božović began in 1999 in the first team of FK Radnički Kragujevac, which played into the Yugoslav First League. At the end of the season he moved to league rivals OFK Belgrade. In OFK he initially could not prevail, so that he came only a few uses and was loaned out twice to Proleter Zrenjanin. From the season 2004/ 05 he was frequently used and was able to prevail as a regular player.

In the summer of 2007 Božović OFK left and moved to Romania to Rapid Bucharest. Here he was able to prevail as a regular player. With Rapid succeeded him in the seasons 2010/11 and 2011/12 to qualify for the Europa League. In 2012, he reached with his team to the final of the Romanian Cup, but it lost to Dinamo Bucharest 0-1.

In January 2013 Božović joined Mordowia Saransk in the Russian Premjer League.

National

Božović has played 21 games for the Montenegrin national football team, which he joined in their first international match on March 24, 2007 against Hungary. The greatest success in the national jersey he celebrated in qualifying for Euro 2012, as the team in the group G etc. the Switzerland behind and was able to move into the playoffs. There, however, he was eliminated by the Czech Republic.
