Vladimir Gorodetsky

Vladimir Gorodetsky Filippowitsch (Russian: Владимир Филиппович Городецкий; born July 11, 1948 in Alexino, Smolensk Oblast ) is a Russian politician. He was 2000-2014 Mayor of Novosibirsk.

Prior to his election as mayor Gorodetsky was for many years deputy mayor under Viktor Tolokonski. When he was Governor of Novosibirsk Oblast, Gorodetsky was elected as the new mayor. 2004 and 2009 Gorodetsky was re-elected. In March 2014 Gorodetsky was appointed Acting Governor of Novosibirsk Oblast.
