Vladimír Vašíček

Vladimír Vašíček ( born September 29, 1919 in Mistřín; † 29 August 2003 Svatobořice ) was a Czech painter.

Vašíček was one of the pioneers and classics of Czech modern and abstract painting after the Second World War.

At the Prague Spring in 1968, the later Swiss President Hans -Rudolf Merz helped him when he emigrated to Switzerland.
